This is what's waiting for you inside.

Ancient ritual. Modern recovery.
A sensory experience built on community, connection, and care.

Water flows from a rectangular fountain with a maroon-colored wall and stone accents.

Biohacking, Recovery & Fitness in Puerto Rico

Las Ruinas offers one of the only complete Bathhouse experiences in Puerto Rico. A variety of distinct environments, each one doing something different to the body — designed to be used together.

Home gym with a treadmill, weight rack with plates, and a chair in a room with dark walls and a window letting in natural light.

The Gym

A full-facility boutique gym unlike anything else in Old San Juan. Technogym equipment, power racks, Smith machine, dumbbells, kettlebells, cable machines, medicine balls, treadmills, rower, elliptical, cardio machines and more — all inside the same warm terracotta walls that define the rest of Las Ruinas.

Proper workout attire and shoes are required.

Complimentary
Tea Bar

The Las Ruinas tea bar is complimentary for all guests — hot tea, popsicles, and mixed nuts, thoughtfully stocked and always available. A small, considered pause between the gym and the plunge, or the perfect way to close out your session before you head back into Old San Juan.

Corner view of a wooden sauna with horizontal wood planks, a cushioned seat in the corner, dim lighting, and warm red-tinted tones.

Dry Sauna

High heat, low humidity. The classic sauna experience — the one that has existed in some form in nearly every culture on earth. Fifteen minutes in here and the rest of the day feels different.

Interior of a traditional sauna room with wooden walls, benches, and a heater visible in the corner.

Infrared Sauna

Unlike a traditional dry sauna, infrared uses light to heat the body directly rather than the air around it. Lower ambient temperature, deeper tissue penetration. One of the few infrared saunas available in San Juan.

Interior view of a modern, minimalist hallway with illuminated rectangular wall sconces and baseboard lighting, dark walls and flooring.

Steam Room

Warm, humid, and enveloping. The steam room operates at lower temperatures than the saunas — the most accessible entry point into thermal bathing and one of the best things you can do for your respiratory system.

An outdoor courtyard with a small pool at the bottom, surrounded by a balcony with black railings, potted plants, a round wooden table with a plant, a white bench, and a textured red wall with decorative wall lights and an archway.

Cold Plunge

The counterpart to everything above. One to three minutes in the cold plunge and your entire system resets. The clarity that follows isn't a feeling — it's chemistry. This is where the real recovery happens.

A pink stucco wall with a small staircase leading up to some seating area with cushions and a glass railing, and a hot tub below the seating area, with some plants and rocks.

Thermal Pool

Where most guests find their rhythm. The thermal pool sits between the heat and the cold — a place to slow down, extend your session, and let the body integrate everything it just went through.

A rooftop pool area surrounded by coral-colored walls, with some areas of exposed brickwork and greenery growing on top. The pool has dark water and the area is partially shaded.

Salt Water Pool

Step in and feel the difference. The saltwater pool at Las Ruinas is designed for relaxation and balance — a gentle, restorative soak that rounds out the thermal bathing experience. Lower impact than the cold plunge, more intentional than a standard pool.

Locker Rooms, Showers &
Get Ready Stations

A dimly lit interior wall with three circular mirrors and decorative wall sconces with cut-out patterns, mounted above a marble countertop with electrical outlets and cords.

Private, clean, and fully equipped. Lockers, showers, and get-ready stations so you can arrive from wherever and leave ready for wherever you're going.

Towels are complimentary.

The perfect cool-down after your session. Fully organic, refreshing drinks to ease you back into the day.

An indoor seating area with several white, round, ribbed armchairs and matching round tables. The space features exposed brick, rustic walls in a pinkish hue, and a shade cloth hanging from the ceiling. There are some plants and a small bar or counter area in the background.
